In my slumber,
deep and sound
My true love there,
I have found

I keep him there
for fear of day
which looms to take
my love away

In the night
I pretend
my love for him 
will never end

In the dark,
safe and sound,
my true feelings 
there abound

And in the end
I begin 
what,in day,
I can't comprehend
