Address to a Train

                Train keep rolling ,
                 keep on rolling 
                 don’t slow down for my stop ,
                 do not disturb me 
                 while I nest and slumber
                 with my fondest love ,
                 ride every rail in this here country
                 then roll them all again ,
                 so I might retire
                 from this longly night
                 to the arms of my best friend .

                Yonkers station ,
                 Yonkers station
                 come on keep your hammer down
                 tragedy to remove me from
                 this mighty joy I’ve found ,
                 beyond the cursed window pane
                 watching you slip away ,
                 as you disappear on down the line 
                 I address the fleeing train .
