The Gift

One day
God gave me a gift.
He said to me
Do as you wish.

When i saw what it was, 
it took me by surprise
my body shook
it made my spirits rise.

It's what i've always wanted
I've thanked God every night,
everything aboutit
was just so right.

It's colours were shinning
and oh how it gleamed!
It's the most beautiful thing
i have ever seen.

It's made of love, tenderness,
happiness too,
This gift was like,
a dream come true.

But it's real, all mine
a dream it was not,
For you THE BEST gift
I have ever got!
