A time for change

A time for change
That's where I'm at
But it's not bad
I'm not having a change of heart

It's time, far past time
For me to change
My attitude, my outlook
A change for the better.

A time for change
That I fear, may have come too late
If it has, then we'll start anew
Try to rebuild what we once had.

Oh, how I hope it isn't too late
For me to change
For me, for my wife
For our wonderful daughter.

What took me so long, you may ask
For me to decide it's time
A pending divorce and
A lose of a special Wife.

Can I change in time?
Can I be changed in time?
I think that I can
If it's the Lords will

I can't change myself
Only the God above
Will make the changes
That are needed in me

So I ask Him
Pray to Him
To make these changes
While there's still hope

I have complete trust
That, if it's His will
It will be done
And I will be changed
