poem
The tattered words that come from here
are not the ones that give us cheer
Nor are they words that have appeal
or help our souls and hearts to heal
I offer them because I ache
Alone I feel no love to take
So onward up the mount I trudge
To meet a silent lonely judge
Who faceless takes my heart to task
denying each reprieve I ask
ignoring words I have to share
and motivations behind there
So once again I turn to flee
denying what I was to be
Not knowing if I'll ever see
the one who once said she loved me
