If you were me for just one day
it would be easy for you to see
how very much I love your touch
and how much you mean to me.

If you were me and I were you,
you'd have to love me more.
Because every breath I take is for you,
you're what I've waited for.

If you were me you'd have to know
how much this love has grown.
Because nothing means as much to me
as this precious love I've known.

If you were me you'd thank the Lord
for all the things we share.
You'd have to know without a doubt,
how much I really care.

that deep inside my heart
I love you more than life itself
