I can't help but wonder
if anything was meant
by your hand on my shoulder.
A slight regret, perhaps
that you cant kiss me,
without becoming someone
I wouldn't want to kiss.
And if so, I'll consider
your hand on my shoulder
a warm kiss goodbye.
