one small step man can never take
on the outside of
miracle looking in
the life
the fullness of life
only inside the human body
but never inside me
or any man
cannot understand
cannot fathom the
heart of woman
deeper than the endless miracle
I will never understand
because I
will always be on the outside looking in
actively spectating
but never wholly participant
never able to love like that
