A Serendipitous Meeting
There once was a girl
with f*ck me fresh curls
and with in her eyes a gleam
she arrived on the scene
not expecting a thing
and not a worry she did bring
but joined in the fun
beneath a setting sun
and in margarita glory
spouted many a story
to a captive blue-eyed guy
and a friend very wry.
And on the camping trip
her eggs would not flip
but they still got a rave
from the CPA Dave
they joked and flirted
and eyes diverted
the sarcasm flew
the innuendos did too
and they shared a kiss
or two or three, in their bliss
The next day filled with laughs
and stolen glances in a mass
that evening began in an alcohol fashion
and ended in passion
hearts pounding deep
making it hard to sleep
giddy excitement brewed
and thoughts that were lewd
hopefullness sprouted
and the skeptic girl allowed it.
Morning came too soon
Miles between them loomed
With this stage set
She vowed to not forget
Of the meeting serendipitous
And her heart impetuous
And to not be soured
Or her interest devoured
By pessimistic thoughts
Or lonely walks
‘cuz she won’t let this one slip
and is planning a trip
to reel in the money-thinker
hook, line, and sinker.
