sometimes she looked so beautiful
sometimes she just looked plain
sometimes she's bright like the morning sun
sometimes she was the rain
she was pretty much intelligent
but at times she was just dumb
sometimes she thinks her way through
sometimes she just sucked her thumb
there were times she was an angel
and then times when she's a bitch
one day she's the fairest maiden
then again she was a witch
sometimes i'm proud to be with her
sometimes i kept my distance
there were nights i thought it's destiny
sometimes just happenstance
confused because she's all i need
then i didn't want her there
although sometimes i loved her much
sometimes i didn't care
she corrected my wrongs, she really did,
but too she wronged my rights
i hated her when i go to sleep
i loved her when i turned off the lights
sometimes i smile when reminded of her
sometimes i cursed myself
sometimes her picture's on my wallet
sometimes i hide it in a shelf
sometimes, sometimes, i don't know why
only sometimes did i love her
