ever jumped in an elevator,
you asked, grinning like a child

and for all my adventures
the whirlwind of my life 
you keep finding things
that i never knew 

holding them out to me
like an offering 


you asked me if i wanted
to skydive naked 

and i declined 

me!  

the one without fear

you give so much
that i can't take it all 



my kisses are hungry 
and you quietly growl
that you can't wait to get me home

and i quietly smile
and ask 

why wait?

and i offer this to you 
like a present
to be unwrapped 



i imagine that at christmas
you are surrounded by ripped paper

you aren't the type to 
open things slowly

and i always thought
that i was the naughty one

wearing no underwear 
under this skirt

but you still make me blush
when you ask me

to lock the door behind me
as i enter the boardroom

no fear allowed
or needed



but still my stomach jumps 
like it did
when i jumped in the elevator
for the first time
