mornings come with sunshine, rain or snow
skies be sometimes blue or dark as night
amongst a crowd you'll see a friend or foe
you'll smile or cry, cower in fear or fight
thread your way in pain or merrily go
regardless though, i'll always stay in sight

you'll sing a song of loss and loneliness
whistle a tune for the beauty of life
jump with joy in moments of happiness
hang on a limb or edges of a knife
fall or fly high, your needs be more, or less
i'm by your side come good times or strife

i'll watch with joy when you are being blest
when tired, i'll take your burdens while you rest
