i can't remember how you feel 
how you smell 
and taste
how you used to hold me and whisper in my ear
what it felt like
to look over and see you 
with me
to wake next to you
feel your warmth hear you snore
how it felt when you held me
kissed me loved me

i can remember how you sound 
how you laughed 
and what you said 
but not what it all meant 

i can remember you walking out
without a word
not  looking back
at me 
not even a good bye

i know it all happened
i just can't remember 
anymore 
what it felt like 

could it be that i am finally over you?
