Your words are harsh but true
You say them so often I believe them
People say otherwise but whether you understand…I don't know

You don't reveal yourself to me but that's ok
You don't trust me
You may not know it but you hurt

Your eyes say more than your tongue in speech
Your body embraces my affections towards life
You mouth doesn't say enough
Your embraces are short and un-satisfying
But you are saving yourself for that one
