Reflections

So here we are,  together again as if we were never apart
My strong shoulders press against your tall frame as if we were made for one another
A hug from any other man would bring a heart racing, pulse pounding, meaning of lust
As tender as my heart ...You know all I want is your comfort and your happiness
In my arms is the safest place for you...You bury your head into my chest
I hear you whisper a gently "thank you for understanding"
As I pause to smell the soft SUNG misted through your hair
I realize how lucky a man I am
I fight back my tears as I reflect upon our first chat together
Not tears of sadness...Tears of joy and the happiness we've shared
Tears that flow freely down my face...Free as my emotions when we're together
You are so caring and warm...A woman who accepts a man who'll put
down his rugged defenses and show the softer side of him.
As you gaze into my eyes you smile up at me, and you begin to cry softly
Tears of joy and happiness, as you reflect upon our time together
As you touch my cheek, a tear trickles lightly down onto your cheek
Our tears blend together and gently rest upon your warm lips
As I close my eyes, I see my reflection in your tears
I know you see your reflection in my tears,because everything I gaze at becomes you in my mind
As I kiss you softly on the lips I whisper to you ,"You have rescued me"
