Feeling your warmth
as you lie down next to me.
I hold your face close to mine,
taking in the intoxicating scent 
of your skin.
So familiar
It comforts me, soothes me
and tells me that you're real.
You surround me with your embrace.
Your breath brushes against my skin
and I smile.
For in this moment,
I feel complete
I want for nothing more 
than to love you,
laugh with you,
and to share another day
where your soul connects with mine.
