  i was being silly
forget it

      sometimes the bad in me
       peeks out from behind
            my IQ
        and lacking a better view
      whispers secrets
       that are misconstrued
      I can be crude
       and terribly mean
     but I wasn't comparing you
      to Charlie Sheen
         or a turtle
     for malicious reasons
      my love is well-placed
    (if out of season)
   I stuck gold stars
      across your chart
     because you cleaned up
       my messy heart
   and my art has grown
     by leaps & bounds
     and my smiles are out
     and making the rounds
   not the kind
