Word.com is a terrific site. It's one
of the few arts sites that actively commissions new works.
The Word Wide Web's greatest strength
may be in giving amateurs the ability to publish, but it's good that
there are people who are trying to make a business model of art.
Anyway, last month I published a Ramble on why I thought Boxers are the Best Thing for men, and by happy coincidence, Word is currently featuring a piece combining Boxers and Romance, Ironic Virgin by Brad Kloza, a study in first times, staying friends after the breakup, and underwear with cartoon characters. And while you're there, check out pixeltime, an exercise in user-driven art that may even be cooler than the Blender. |
