Able to Lie

In India
The fakirs
Are able to lie
On a bed of nails
Without blood 
Or pierced flesh
The problem is
I have had one faker
Too many
Invite me to their beds
Where they
Are able to lie
And from whence they rise
Unscathed
While I rise
Pierced and bleeding
Yet again
