I celebrate a miracle today,
The miracle that is you, that has brought
To me a joy, a hope, a love I sought,
A gift so precious there is none which may
Be greater in my eyes.  Please do not say
That I make too much of you, that I ought
To think of else, but that would be for naught;
Because, once given, true love does not sway.
The unconditional love that I lay
At your feet cannot be by man unwrought
For it was not created by man’s thought,
But was placed within my heart as I prayed,
By an unseen hand, the same hand that made
The miracle I celebrate today.
