Cooling off?

I was sure that the
passion I had tapped back into,
what I had once feared lost, 
would make you need me even more, 
that we could start a 
new and wonderfully intense fire,
for I do need you
my heart needs your love more
than ever before
Instead your heart slumbers...
Does it dream of my passion?
Am I even in its dreams?
I wonder if I will ever make you see just what
you do to me
Can I warm your coolness?
Can I light your fire?
Not just once again for old
times sake
Not just to reminisce about
when our love was young and exciting
But a new, deep, and intense passion,
the passion of two
hearts that know what 
is really worth fighting for.
I want to fight like hell
to keep off that chill
the coolness of the winter
in the heart of us...
