Dreamscape

DREAMSCAPE
On a clear distant day
As the morning sun breaks through 
I feel a warmth deep inside 
And once more,my thought turn to you 

As I sit on the sand 
Looking accross this vast blue scape 
The ocean laps at my feet 
Taunting me,with a dare it knows I can't take 

Each day a single wish 
To get lost in your eyes 
A patience I've learned 
But tears me apart from inside 

Feelings I can not control 
My mind closed to all options but you 
Maybe just take a chance 
Make this dream I live come true 

My thoughts wander back 
Knowing it's a promise I can't break 
Try to be content in what I have 
And wait for my chance to take 

The time will come 
When you will feel my embrace 
Two hearts to beat as one 
My soft touch on your face 

This distance between us 
Will not defeat my love 
There is no power on earth 
Or from the Gods above 

Until the time comes 
When I hold you in my arms 
I'll keep you locked in my heart 
Safe,where you cannot be harmed
