A Happy Ending

Of inconsequential meeting,
The excitement of two hearts beating.
Reluctance and doubt!
Wondering what a second chance could hold,
what life is all about!

Trust...a five letter word that should be four!
A lesson learned by two souls once torn.
Feelings of wonder, joy of self-expression
never to look back, or need for regression.

Together from the beginning of time it must seem. 
Knowing one another only from a dream.
Neither questioning destiny or a chance at hearts mending, 
This time the fable will have a happy ending.
