Knowing You

Knowing you, is a treat
A delightful gift from life itself
You do what you must
Facing depression and defficulty courageously
I'm glad our lives have touched

Whatever your words and actions
I always see how
You are loving, caring, and supportive
An angel of kindness and love
Who speaks from the heart

You make an impression on me
You make me feel great as can be
Standing out from the rest
You are the best
You brighten my live as you see

When others would turn away 
You have understood
When others would condemn and judge
You have understood
You are wise in your caring

Even during difficult times
You take the time to listen
You are a perceptive and understanding
Having you around is a gift
A priceless, precious gift

Although you are full of depression
You land a hand to others
In a way that gives them strength
You provide such support
To show what is right and wrong

How you feel and what you think
Matter to me
You are important
Never forget that. . . . 
I care

Sometimes the thing we fell deepest
And mean most
Are the most defficult to express
There seem to be no words to say
How thankful I am to you
