Something Wonderful

I am just a plain ordinary lady.
He's everything a white knight should be.
I don't understand how we came to be together.
All that I know is that he rescued me.

So many times he dries the tears that I cry.
When I try so hard to be what I think I should be.
He say's he couldn't love me anymore than he does now
and I'm just that the way that he wants me to be.

He never seems to notice the changes that time brings,
A silver hair, a slowness, or a small gentle crease.
But he says that I'm lovlier now than I have ever been.
And if he had the chance he'd love me over again.

And when I ask him how he can see me this way 
his only reply is always the same.
Because he knows, what he knows, 
and he knows that he loves me.
Because he sees, what he sees,
and he sees something wonderful in me.
