Once, I saw her as the brightest star
Now, I see her as my lifeless soul in the dark

With the taste of my own tears
Departs you along with my love
You escape me along with my fears
Along with my heaven high above

You don’t understand how much pain resides in my heart
The pain you and only you could’ve caused
The pain of you and me drifting away, so far apart
The pain of not being able to feel again my one true love

You filled my heart of painful lies
Lies which are earning to leave
All the lies and false images you’ve decided to leave behind
I beg you to please help rid them from me
