Spring send
       Winter end
              Lovers' friend

Spring's brook
             flowing past
Winter's snow
            melting fast
Robin's song
           here at last

Spring's breeze
              heaven sent
Winter's bluster
               finally spent
Salmon's journey
                upstream went

Spring's flowers
               colors bright
Winter's freeze
              gone from sight
Butterfly's wings
             fluttering flight

Spring's meadows
               full of life
Winter's ice
           forgotten strife
Lovers' vows
           a glowing wife

Spring sends
           hearts fulfilled
Winter ends
          hope instilled
Lovers, friends
              shared dreams
                          together build
