Transparency

Aversive eyes provide it most
Not that repugnance is my only trait
Or that a gaze towards me
Would cause a sting

Unique to one
extinct with two;
Indeed the attraction
Of a 'couple'

Now this thought 
Invades my head,
Hacks my confidence
Till toppling is probable

With time,
The transparency 
I've become, forgets
To cast a shadow
