I wish

I wish I had some magic word that would help your heart 
even a thought that might solve all the problems 
that have piled themselves onto your shoulders... 
but I don't ... all I have is my hand, 
which I offer you freely, with no stings.
may it pull you into the haven of our friendship, 
as a brief respite from the winds of change.

I wish I could do or say something that would help your heart.
Just know that I am here.
All I have to offer is a friendly ear, a warm word 
my friendship, my love and my heart.
please take them, use them..
I offer them freely, let my friendship be a haven,
I am here, I am wishing, may it comfort you.
