One Sweet Day

You called me this morning
as soon as you woke up.
You came to my door
with a pretty buttercup.
We watched a movie.
You gave me a kiss.
I don't think I've loved
someone like this.
It started to get late.
The moon was shining bright.
You asked me to go for a walk
that night.
As we were walking,
I brought on a smile.
We've been walking for a bit,
it seemed quite awhile.
We sat at the rocks and looked
at the stars in the skies. 
And I looked at you, 
into your big brown eyes.
I felt that sensation,
deep inside of me.
That sensation that made me
happy with glee.
I want to tell you something, 
this is what I have to say...
I'll love you forever, 
forever and a day.
