Hop the Fence

all reasoning gone from burdend mind
vulnerability at it's more
I venture to the other side
where greener blades do lure
I stroll right up to hop the fence
the fence that does divide
divide the havers from the needers
and declare some as my prize
over the fence I slide with
Dramatic arrogance
to sample goods not meant
for me, but now I cannot hide
In my haste or fool clumsiness
I tumble down the slope
Jarring that other side of me
I left across the line
so, with one less shoe
and half my pride
back over the fence I stride
