For a love

How can I tell her?
I’ve known her for little more than the passing of the moon,
Yet as sure as the moon shines,
And the stars twinkle.
I’ve placed my heart in her hands,
As sure as the night lives on,
And the stars shine true,
My heart will be hers.
So how can I tell her,
My friend,
My love.
I can see her beauty.
Though my eyes have to see her,
I know her souls light well.
And I know for sure,
That this love is true,
For it’s not based on beauty,
Except that of her spirit.
So how can I tell her,
And loose that little bit of her that I now hold in friendship.
How can I tell her?
How?
