The Good Yet Deadly Disease

love is just a strange feeling 
that makes you not think straight 
a strong pulse from the heart 
that numbs the brain 
an unusual illness 
that affects your vision 
and makes you go blind 
a drug that makes you high 
all of the time 
when you're under this spell 
in which we call love 
you tend to do things 
that you would never think of 
your senses weaken 
yet your sense of feel begins to strengthen 
the roses are a little bit redder 
the air is a little bit fresher 
and the sun shines a little brighter 
you tend to become deaf
towards others
who warn you about 
catching this disease from another
and when you feel this thing called love
watch out for what you do
it might stay with you forever
or go away like the flu
