Borrowed Love

Most things in life happen for a reason
Like the roar of the tide, or the change of the seasons.
Sometimes life was bitter and cruel
But that all changed the day I met you.
They say the best things in life are free
Youve shown this to be true by the love you have for me.
You have healed my love, my heart, my soul
My life has been hard and taken its toll.
For this I can not thank you enough
For falling in love with me had to be tough.
To feel the heat from your lips, the touch of your skin
I know what we do can not be a sin.
There are many things in life that I would rather forget
But my love for you I will never forget.
