i will remember the good times
i will remember the bad
and when i remember
it will make me sad
for once it used to be
that "us" was all we knew
you were me and i was you
we were so happy 
so good together
do you forget? or
can you remember?
but after awhile we began to drift
further and further
from what we used to be
now through the broken pieces i sift
wondering how our "forever"
got so out of reach
now you are you
and i am me
and a future together
we cannot see
so i hope you remember the good times
please don't remember the bad
and i hope you'll never forget
the love that we once had.
