They say that 
absence makes the heart grow fonder
But that doesn't but scratch the
surface of my heart, hint at my truths.
It is my mind that draws me
nearer to you when you are not near
In these few days apart,
my mind has become better acquainted 
with the feelings I have for you
And given me some hope that I will
prove worthy of your heart's devotion
And the power of your emotion.
