Closing my eyes tonight 

I’m there
Beside you

Dark night skyscraper starlight
I gazed 
  I drank you in
Stored you here
In my mind

oh yes
   there  you are
Hands over  head
Your eyes closed
I run fingers along your lips 
You kiss each one
I rub your goatee
you tilt back your head....
stretching like a sated cat
at the glory of my hands
on your chest

opening eyes
erasing lush night pictures from my mind

these days
