These Words

"I love you."
So easy for you to say.
Three little words
that fall so innocently
 	out of your mouth,
warm from our midnight
  	embrace
bodies entwined 
	in silence.

"I need you."
How simple it is to say.
Your breath 
so sweet and sultry,
	mingling with mine
seeping through
	my skin 
tightly clutching 
	at my heart.

"Forever."
No trouble at all to say.
The room turns cold
as the morning sun
	glares in my eyes,
and I turn to
	find you gone
knowing that forever
	is only a word.
