Beloved

I used to dream as a child
That a knight will come someday
And promise me the whole world
And care for me, come what may.

He’ll love me and protect me
Shower me with sweet kisses
Lull me each night when I sleep
Bring me to pretty places.

That dream remain as it is
Until I laid eyes on you
When my heart sang melodies
When my mirages came true.

I never dream it to be
This beautiful, marvelous
It’s like sleeping on a cloud
Indulging in the luscious.

The feeling is so perfect
Like a ballerina’s dance
Sweet aria of heaven’s song
Blend of honesty and trance.

I watch you sleep beside me
Splendid angel on my bed
Now knowing I need not drowse
For now you’re mine, beloved.
