Daisy Kiss Goodnight
still I know he's going away
to a place where they recreate your identity
once he goes there I may not know who he is
he's my daisy kiss goodnight where I can forget to make his bed
even then I still know he's going away
maybe I'll learn to blow smoke rings before he goes
sometimes the fire finishes my cigarette for me
I count the time 'cause I know he'll be going away
I'm still me and I hope that's good enough
he spins like a record and turns off
I hate it when he's sad
I want him
I say never again will I regret this
