Wistful pleasure
of escape
into you
is short lived
but sustainable
and remains
remarkable.

Left to our own devices
creeping into the night
retracting not refracting
light from a moment tonight.

Shared
unkempt emotions
require the movement
and motion
of sincerity,
honesty.

Descriptive verse
teases and pleases
though sometimes terse
drawing from
soul searching
exploration
not exploitation.
Tangible
and manageable
with understanding
all questions
do not require answers
love
is unexplainable
not unattainable.
