on the phone, 
or even using your voice at all
to be talking at each other
rather than 
with each other or 
even 
to each other
such a little thing
a pronoun is
even when fitted in 
with other words typed silently
before clicking the button that says
SEND
not 
kissy noises
or lovey dovey eyes
or lips against a downy cheek
or steamy breath against a neck
or soft caresses with warm hands under the covers
just a brilliantly germ
and trouble-free
