I faked it once...

I write regret in pencil so I can cross it out
I take my heart in from the steps
we went out dancing one night
all those beautiful dancing girls
the time on my face is visable
should I starve myself so I can buy that dress
She said never trade love for money but it's nice if you have both
her baby smile is irredescent by the stars
his lips,kiss,eyes
I faked it once
I'm not dying to try it but I'll do most things once
little dancing girl
he loves my little daisy girl
he wants to steal my marigolds
but he takes time out for me
and for that I ma gracious
he left my things in a paperbag and I liked how he remembered
