sonnet (If I Can)

if i can paint your face in perfection
then let my hand draw sunsets on the sky
let me sketch a pretty constellation
to awe and dazzle every mortal eye

if i can sculpt your body's symmetry
make way for me to lay some waterfalls
and carve some mountains for a scenery
that can unbreak all broken hearts and souls

if i can write the glory of your kiss
allow my mind to weave immortal lines
and with my heart inscribe my unmatched bliss
in everything that keeps your heart in mine's

if i can mold myself to be like you
how easy then to mold a new world too!
