The light of your love
illuminates my soul
exposing the darkness
hiding within me.

I haven't a solution
nor do i reason one
to happen by
anytime soon.
But revealed
under the rays of your hope
i've seen myself
and i've seen you.

that life's enticing mysteries
are shattered
by our own realities
weighing heavy
on every scenario
as we sneak a peek,
a fleeting glimpse,
of unanswered,
unspoken,
unrealistic,
