Point of no return

We've reached this point before, a line between hate and pride.
I did everything to make you happy..
I was willing to neglect my own priorities just to appease you.
I did everything you wanted and more.
But you cast me aside, you threw my heart away.
Whenever things got tough, I was always here to wipe your tears..comfort you.
I was here to see you through the worst storms imaginable.
Yet you never opened your eyes long enough to see my own tears,
my own insecurities.
my own fears.
So I ran from your side.  I left without a moment's hesitation.
But as soon as I was out the door, I realized that I left my heart, my home, 
my soul behind, and I came running back to you.
In my point of view, I am the one who is blind.
No matter how cruel you may treat me, I still placed you on a high pedastal.
The only problem is, that when you come crashing down,
I'll be the one to break your fall.
