red shoe diary
my heart wears the ruby slippers
that your love gave it when You chose me to be your
one and only
These are the shoes that
always lead me to the
Emerald City of your love
They will have to kill me to
get them off
That is also a problem...
because when I get lost,
too far away from the paradise of you,
my hearts may say,
“there’s no place like home,”
but no matter how many times
it clicks its heels
it can’t find its way back to you
It needs you to come rescue it
so very much like a child in the wilderness
I need you to
lead it from the darkness
that falls whenever you are not
with me for too long
