Summer Semi-Fantasy
The sun is making rainbows as it strikes the dews
On all the little grasses around my lovely rose
A spotlight for the beauty circled in shifting hues
Through trees that line this passage and shade it with their boughs
And oh the jealous glances from bees and butterflies
From all the trees and grasses, the sun up in the sky
As hand and hand we walk with laughter in our eyes
And music playing sweetly from angels way up high
I guess she finds me funny whenever I admire
The way her hair's styled by the constant breeze
But though she laughs I know that I will never tire
For everytime I do it, I get from her a kiss
It's always sweet to see her begin to fantasize
When leaves come tumbling down to kiss her little feet
Although she never say it I see it in her eyes
She's going back when chance smiled and let us meet
The mirror of her soul reveals her secret place
When we were but strangers infront of cathode rays
There she typed her heart out with honesty and grace
While far away I waited to read what her heart says
Seasons came and went and yet she's still the same
In love with love and nature and gently falling rain
Sunsets in the mountains that touch her lovely frame
And kisses on my forehead that leaves her lipstick's stain
For every wish granted and every prayer heeded
I whisper silent "thank you"s to Him that holds my life
Inspite my faults He gave me everything I needed
When He bestowed on me the loveliest of wife.
