Storm
words don't rain on me
like it rain on poets
who made their marks
on magazines and books
and the words I intend
to use are not even
that familiar to me
for I don't usually
speak the english
language everyday,
didn't even make
it through college
to know all those
rules in grammar,
so a dictionary
i keep by my side
an eraser too
to keep me company
on days or nights
that I feel like
writing you a poem
but during these
moments of inspiration,
though words come
harder and harder
with every line I write,
my love for you
is like a storm
drenching me with
overflowing resolve
to finish depicting
my heart on paper.
