Technicolor

The need to be Loved
With a capital "L"
Not lower case
But a bold capital
Love that is true
That is deep
That is unconditional
Not necessary to sustain life
But the having of which
Makes life complete

The distinction between
Black-and-white
And technicolor
Both show the same scene
But oh what a difference
That vibrant color makes

There are films
In black-and-white
That are beautiful
Powerful
Classic
Yet in the end
They are still 
Black-and-white
   I want to be in technicolor
